Minseo Kwon

PRESIDENT

My name is Minseo Kwon, a senior attending Korea International School. It is with no doubt that a good education has the power to change a life. Having access to books and being read to as a child are one of the most important factors that leads to a academic and lifetime success. Books allow one to think critically and creatively and can help children grow into individuals that have the skills required to compete in the global workforce. As the president, I will dedicate myself to fulfill our organization’s goal to give everyone access to libraries and books regardless of their socioeconomic status and further expand the program to also help children grow into global citizens who can flourish in the 21st century.

My name is Minjun Choi, a junior at Korea International School. I had an undying love for books ever since I was old enough to hold and read books. My exposure to books allowed me to learn countless things, whether it be morals, friendship, dedication, or even life itself. I am grateful to this day for the books I have read; I wish that children are given the opportunities to experience the happiness and gratefulness I felt. Thus, I will work hard as the Vice President to make this program run effectively and ensure that children are exposed to books and grow to become strong citizens and make the future a better place.

Mark Park

PUBLIC RELATIONS

My name is Mark Chijung Park, a senior at Korea International School. I believe that the lack of education is one of the most concering problems around the world. As books can be a great medium to cultivate growth and knowledge, the donation of books can greatly help in solving this issue. Thinker Library Foundation, thus, creates libraries in order to take part in the education of underprivileged children. I have joined this foundation because I want to be part of that process and be an active member of the society. Working as a public relations, I will devote myself into expanding this program by scouting new sponsors and partners from other schools and organizations.
